This violence towards indigenous womxn is part of the legacy of colonialism that still continues to impact indigenous peoples on both continents. Indigenous womxn have the highest rates of sexual assault, domestic violence, kidnapping, trafficking, & murder.

All of the proceeds from the sale of this print go to Rising Hearts.  Rising Hearts is an indigenous led grassroots group devoted to elevating Indigenous voices and promoting intersectional collaborative efforts across all movements in the fight for racial, social, climate, and economic justice. They also advocate, organize, and help raise awareness to end the epidemic of missing and murdered Indigenous womxn, girls, two-spirits, and relatives.
