Inspiration
A K’iche’ Maya woman from the highlands of Guatemala. She wears a traditional head covering with tassels called Pom-Poms.
Maya womxn proudly wear huipiles every day. Many of the garments are made on a backstrap loom, then decorated with designs and motifs common to the weaver's village. Many of the motifs are traditional symbols. Most designs originally have meaning or historical significance.
